Imagine Istanbul

Continuing with my previous posting on the Galata Tower of Istanbul, I wanted to share some views with my readers of the skyline taken from the tower. This photograph was taken from one of the windows of the tower.

I never ate at the restaurant at the top of the tower, but I did climb the circular stairs of the tower to the top. It’s quite a climb, the stairs are uneven, but it’s great exercise. I heard the restaurant is not very good, but maybe that’s just one person’s view. Perhaps the dining and the entertainment is a part of the total experience of the tower. I’ve never actually eaten in the restaurant, so I couldn’t give you an honest evaluation of the food there.
