Imagine Istanbul

I took this photograph on my first trip to Istanbul.

It was close to the end of a long day of shooting photographs around the city of Istanbul. I had been extremely lucky with the images I had taken. This is one of my favorite photographs because I believe that perhaps God or something else magical had set up this photograph for only me. The bright blue shopping bag and the fish lain artfully upon the bag was luck and chance. This was taken in the late afternoon as I was walking along the Galata Bridge, photographing the fishermen. The fishermen were standing shoulder to shoulder along the bridge fishing for their supper.
