Istanbul Photography Contest – Update
The website and contest information for photographers is now ready at Les Arts Turcs and for that reason, I am re-posting my article and the details.
For the photographers among us, Les Arts Turcs is running a photography contest for all photographers. The contest is designed to encourage foreign photographers of all skill levels to submit photos that visually express their vision of Istanbul.
The prizes are fantastic for the winners which include:
First-Place Prize:
One week Istanbul Travel ( Hotel + transfer, meals, tour, entertainment & small souvenirs) 7 days – 6 nights.
Second-Place Prizes:
4 days Istanbul Travel (Hotel + transfer, meals, tour, entertainment) 4 days -3 nights.
Third-Place Prizes:
3 days Istanbul Travel (Hotel + transfer, meals, tour, entertainment) 3 days – 2 nights.
Honorable mention:
5 honorable mentions: weekend travel 2 days 1 night ( meals, tour, entertainment,)
The 40 owners of exhibited entries will be awarded with a contest book and Whirling Dervish Image painted by “LES ARTS TURCS” artists.
Akustic Music Company’s memorial Turkish Music Cd’s to all award winners.
The contest closes November 15, 2008.
