Imagine the Horse Drawn Carriage
Imagine taking a horse drawn carriage around the Island of Büyükada! I had written about the methods of transportation available to you if you should visit the Princes’ Island of Büyükada. No vehicles are allowed. Walking, biking, donkey and horse drawn carriage are the only methods of transportation available. The air around these islands must be very clean – no carbon monoxide pollution put into the environment from automobiles and only the fresh clean wind blowing across the Sea of Marmara.
I thought I would share with you this photograph of the colorful horse drawn carriage I had rented to cover the whole distance of the island of Büyükada. Just to publish a small photograph of this would not have done you justice in the article I wrote on a day trip away from Istanbul.
